Twine is a strong, braided string that it is made by twisting multiple strands together.  The number of strands is designated by the ply of the product with more ply generally meaning a stronger twine. Twine is great for both commercial and homeowner uses to easily bind things together.

NYP offers twine in two segments: Poly and Sisal.  They both are great for a variety of uses but each has their own benefits.

Poly or Polypropylene is popular due to its resistance to rot, mildew and UV from the sun. It is great for indoor and outdoor use.

Sisal comes from the jute tree is is all natural and the preferred method for those looking to minimalize their environmental footprint. It will naturally decompose and is ideal when the binding of the items outdoor is not for prolonged periods of time. Its rougher texture provides excellent gripping strength for tying items together and is a favorite among growers for use in the fields.
